Josh is the Outdoor Recreation Program Manager for the Charleston County Park & Recreation Commission and the Program Chairman for the East Coast Paddlesports & Outdoor Festival. He has worked for CCPRC since 1996 where he developed a love for all paddlesports. Josh holds ACA certifications as a L-5 Advanced Whitewater Kayaking Instructor and L-5 ITE in Advanced Open Water Coastal Kayak. He was the country’s first L-2 Essentials of SUP ITE, and has taught L-2 SUP certification classes throughout the United States. In 2012 Josh was awarded the ACA’s Outstanding Instructor Award for Outstanding Contribution to ACA Instruction.

This certification is for those teaching students in areas with mild winds and modest tidal currents.
